Nan's Apple Pie - Those who were invited for a meal at mom and dad's home in the fall or winter season, very likely were lucky enough to try her homemade apple pie with ice cream and a slice of cheese on the side. Apple pie has always been one of my favorite desserts going back to childhood, and she is the reason why. I loved to help her make the pies and she taught me how, showing me how to make the crust (I could never quite master it like she did), cutting the apples and sprinkling them with all the delicious spices. I'll never forget those memories she made with me.

BURN TIME
Approximately 50+ hours
WOODEN WICK CARE
First Burn - Allow your candle to reach a full melt pool (melted wax touching or close to the edge of the jar). This may take 2-3 hours
Trim the Wick - Before relighting your candle, the wood wick should be trimmed to 1/8". Simply pinch off the blackened tip from the top of the wick with your fingers before lighting (or use a wick trimmer)
GENERAL CANDLE SAFETY CARE
~ Do not burn your candle for more than 3-4 hours at a time.
~ The ideal surface for use is heat safe, away from drafts and out
of reach of pets, children, draperies and furniture.
~ Do not move the candle while burning or if the wax is hot.
~ Never leave a burning candle unattended.
~ When 1/4 inch of wax remains, retire the candle.
